Ceaser Capital Management, LLC
Sure, you could do it yourself. In about 40 years.
A lot of people question the need for a financial advisor. It’s a valid question—after all, in the age of the Internet, why not just research the investments yourself and pick the best ones? As anyone who tried the do-it-yourself route of the early 2000’s will tell you, it’s easier said than done. Credentials and experience are part of what help differentiate us from those who simply label themselves as financial advisors.
Michael G. Ceaser, Jr., CIMA®, CFP® - Entering the business in 1975, Michael is one of the pioneers of the financial planning industry. He oversees all of the accounts at our firm, and has seen enough variation in market conditions to know what works and what doesn't. He became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 1981 at a time when there were only about 2,300 in the entire country. Today, there are over 100,000 worldwide. In addition, he is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® or CIMA® a designation given by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and the Investment Management Consultants Association. Of the over 650 Financial Planning Association members in Michigan, less than 1% have both designations.
Michael T. Ceaser, CFP® - Michael has been a member of our firm since 2007. As a Registered Principal, he not only manages his own clients’ accounts but also assists in the management of other accounts within our office and supervises the transactions of other representatives associated with our firm. Before joining us, Michael had an award-winning career as a writer in various advertising agencies around the Detroit area. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Michael has also completed coursework with the College for Financial Planning and attained his CFP® designation in January 2012.
